StoneHaus Chapel
Spring has sprung in Northwest Arkansas. Nonetheless, regularly scheduled Chapel services continue to be held in the StoneHaus Mission main residence until the Chapel facility cleanup project is complete.
Some major improvements to the StoneHaus main residence were made in March. The enhancements have made our times of gathering in fellowship all the more comfortable and enjoyable. We have prayerful anticipation in the Lord that improvements will continue to be made throughout the next several months.
StoneHaus Gardens
The springtime garden enhancement project has begun. Kerin purchased several edible and medicinal plants which we plan to put into the ground very soon. They will be useful for feeding people and for development of Elder Berry Lane herbal products. We received three and a half cubic yards of two-year horse manure compost, and we are beginning to lay out the plant beds.
Foreign Mission: Maasai
A New Addition
We are rejoicing with Bishop John Tino and his family. God blessed them with a new addition. With the help of two midwives (due to doctors being on strike), John’s wife, Mercy, gave birth at home on April 6, 2024 at 6:56 pm Maasai time. We are thankful to God that mother and baby are both doing well.

Demolished Church Building
We continue to pray for the body of Christ in Maasai. In March 2024, one of the church buildings was demolished. Due to discontinued support of the mission, the land was reclaimed by the owner, and the structure, including the foundation, has been completely destroyed. Bishop John Tino salvaged as much material as possible. The salvaged material is being held on the property of a benevolent member of the church. It is uncertain how much of the material will actually be useful for reconstruction. We join the Maasai church in prayer for God’s guidance and provision, and for the necessary Spiritual strength and unity of the congregants.

Nicholas and Anna Knoebel Mission Trip
It is exciting to have Nicholas and Anna Knoebel preparing for their mission trip to Maasai, Kenya in June. StoneHaus Mission has been announcing their trip to let the body of Christ know they are accepting donation items to deliver in person. The donations opportunity list, made available in the Kenya Trip 2024 group page, helps interested individuals know the types of contributions they can make. We continue to pray for Nicholas and Anna to have a Spirit-filled and fruitful journey.
